Wachsling beeswax towels without jojoba oil - Made in Germany

The wax is a beeswax cloth - our sustainable and natural alternative to aluminum and cling film. As a company, it is important to us to work sustainably and to use only renewable raw materials.

Together with you we would like to bring relief to our planet and ensure that less waste is produced. We keep it this way with our production of the wax pieces: where nature is on it, there is also nature inside.

So that you also know where our ingredients come from, we take you behind our scenes. You can find out from which raw materials

Watch out, here come our fantastic four!

THE COTTON

Basis of our wax beeswax cloths

What is the base of every beeswax cloth? Right, the cloth. We took a lot of time to find the perfect fabric for our waxlings. After all, we needed something that was untreated, pliable, and robust at the same time. One day we found the wonderful cotton fabric from which the wax toy is now made. This great cotton fabric comes from a controlled cultivation. This enables us to guarantee that the fabric is suitable for use with food.

THE WAX

The star of our beeswax wraps

Without wax, there is no beeswax cloth and therefore also no waxling. Our beeswax comes exclusively from small apiaries in our homeland, from North Rhine-Westphalia. We can not only guarantee short transport routes, but also support our local beekeepers. Think globally, act locally. We live this principle as best we can with our company.
In addition, we can convince ourselves of the quality of the beeswax and speak to our beekeepers personally.
Our human race has long appreciated the healing and antiseptic properties of beeswax. The knowledge about it was just not used on the free market for a long time. We'll do that now!
The beeswax ensures the versatility of our waxlings. Nature is constantly changing and cannot be pressed into rigid shapes - but the wax can adapt to any natural shape. Everything that grows on this earth fits into your wax beeswax cloth and is protected from external stimuli by the wonderful properties of our beeswax.

THE RESIN

The pine resin, also called forest frankincense, comes from a traditional carpentry in Austria. In nature, resin is produced by tree injuries and used as a wound closure. So it already has antiseptic and healing properties.

Our pine resin also uses its superpowers with our waxling. It helps us to ensure the bacteria-inhibiting effect of our beeswax cloths. In addition, the texture of the resin ensures that our beeswax also sticks to the cotton fabric.

THE COCONUT OIL

After months of trying it was obvious: We work with coconut oil!

Jojoba oil was not an option for us from the start, as it is not suitable for consumption and contains plant toxins that our body cannot metabolize. In comparison, coconut oil is a real all-rounder. Healthy, harmless and therefore our wax rock star!

The coconut oil has a high proportion of saturated fatty acids and also has a natural antimicrobial effect. Beeswax and coconut oil are pretty good friends too. The oil makes the beeswax nice and supple and prevents it from breaking. Since we unfortunately cannot buy coconut oil regionally, we decided to use virgin, cold-pressed organic oil. We can guarantee that the organic coconut oil comes from controlled organic cultivation.
